Termination of a woman's Employment in Certain cases under Section 50 (BLA-2006) :

As per section-50(BLA-2006),

 

If, within the period of six months preceding a woman's delivery and 60(Sixty) days following her delivery, the employer gives any notice or order for her discharge, dismissal, or removal from service, or for the termination of her service in any other manner, and if there is no sufficient cause for such notice or order, then the concerned woman shall not be deprived of the maternity benefit to which she would have been entitled under this chapter had such notice or order not been given.
