Notice to Inspector General before commencement of work under Section 325 | Bangladesh Labor Act -2006:
As per section 325 (BLA),
(1) Every owner shall, at least fifteen days before beginning work or business in their establishment, send a notice to the Inspector General containing the following information or matters, namely: —
(Ka) The name and location of the establishment;
(Kha) The name and address of the owner;
(Ga) The address for correspondence regarding the establishment.
(Gha) The nature of the work or business to be carried out in the establishment.
(Nga) The nature and quantity of power to be used;
(Cha) The name of the Manager of the establishment;
(Chha) The probable number of workers in the establishment.
(Ja) Any other information prescribed by the rules.
(2) In the case of an establishment that generally carries out its production process for less than 180 (one hundred and eighty) working days in a year, the owner shall, at least 30 (thirty) days before resuming the production process, send a written notice to the Inspector General containing the information mentioned in sub-section (1).
(3) If a new Manager is appointed at any time, the owner shall, within 7(seven) days from the date of the Manager joining, send a written notice to the Inspector General regarding the said change.
(4) If at any time there is no Manager appointed in an establishment, or if the appointed Manager is not working, any person acting as the Manager, or if no such person is found, the owner, shall be deemed to be the Manager of the establishment for the purposes of this Act.
