Regulation of Dangerous Operations under Section 79 | Bangladesh Labor Act -2006:
As per section-79(BLA-2006),
If the Government is satisfied that the operation of any manufacturing process or work in an establishment is likely to cause serious bodily injury, poisoning, or disease to any person employed in connection therewith, the Government may, by rules, make written provisions in respect of such establishment, namely:
(A) Declaring which operations are dangerous;
(B) Prohibiting the employment of women, adolescents, and children in such operations;
(C) Making arrangements for the regular physical examination of every person employed in such operations, and prohibiting the employment therein of any person who has not been certified as fit for such work;
(D) Providing for the protection of the persons employed in such operations or of persons working in the vicinity thereof, and specifying the use of any special material or process in connection with the operations; and
(E) Requiring notices regarding harmful chemical substances and the observance of precautionary notices in the use thereof.
