Compensatory weekly leave under Section 104 | Bangladesh Labor Act -2006:
As per Section 104,
Where, as a result of any order passed exempting any establishment or the workers employed therein from the provisions of section 103, or as a result of any rule made under this Act, a worker is deprived of any of the weekly holidays provided for in that section, he shall be allowed, as soon as circumstances permit, compensatory holidays of equal number to the holidays so deprived:
Provided that, if the workers so desire, they may, through consultation with the Collective Bargaining Agent (CBA) or the Participation Committee, work on a weekly holiday and instead enjoy such holiday by adding it to the festival holidays; and in such cases, no overtime allowance shall be payable for the work performed on such weekly holidays.
