| Restricted Employment of adolescents in work |
Employment of adolescents in work involving dangerous machinery(Under Section 40, BLA-2006) :
As per section -40 subsection (1) of BLA-2006, no adolescent shall be permitted to work on any machinery unless—
(a) He has been fully apprised of the dangers incidental to such machinery and of the precautions to be observed in connection therewith; and
(b) He has received sufficient training for working on the machinery, or is working under the supervision of a person who has a thorough knowledge and experience of the machinery.
(2) The provisions of this regulation shall apply only in respect of such machinery as the Government may, by notification, declare to be of such a dangerous nature that the employment of an adolescent thereon is improper unless the conditions specified in sub-section (1) are fulfilled.
