Dining room, and so on, under Section 93 | Bangladesh Labor Act -2006
(1) In every establishment where twenty-five (25) or more workers (who are subject to the provisions of this Act) are ordinarily employed, the occupier shall provide and maintain, for the use of the workers, adequate numbers of suitable lunch rooms or dining rooms, furnished with facilities for drinking water, so that the workers may eat the food brought by them and may rest.
Provided that any canteen maintained under the provisions of section 92 shall be deemed to be part of the arrangements required under this sub-section.
Further provided that where a lunch room is provided in an establishment, no worker shall eat any food while sitting in his or her work room or work area.
(2) The lunch rooms shall be maintained in a clean and tidy condition, adequately lit, with proper ventilation, and at a reasonably comfortable temperature.
