Canteen Facility  under Section 92 | Bangladesh Labor Act -2006

(1) In every establishment where one hundred or more workers are ordinarily employed, there shall be provided and maintained for the use of the workers an adequate number of canteens.

(2) The Government may, by rules—

(Ka) prescribe the standards to be maintained in respect of the construction, accommodation, furniture, and other equipment of any canteen;

(Kha) Make provisions for the constitution of a managing committee for the canteen and for the representation of workers in its management.

(3) The managing committee shall determine the nature of the foodstuff to be supplied in the canteen and the charges which shall be made for it.
