Toilets and washrooms under Section 59 | Bangladesh Labor Act -2006:

 As per section-59 ,BLA-2006,

(Ka) A sufficient number of sanitary latrines and washing facilities of the types prescribed by rules must be provided in convenient locations so that the workers employed therein can easily use them during working hours.

(Kha) Such latrines and washing facilities must be provided separately for male and female workers.

(Ga) Adequate lighting, ventilation, and a continuous supply of water must be maintained in these latrines and washing facilities; and

(Gh) Said latrines and washing facilities must be kept clean and sanitary at all times at the owner’s own expense by using disinfectants and cleaning agents.
