Time of payment of wages under Section 123 | Bangladesh Labor Act -2006
(1) Payment for regular wage periods. The wages of every worker shall be paid before the expiry of the 7(Seventh) working day after the last day of the wage period in respect of which the wages are payable.
(2) Payment upon termination of employment Where the employment of any worker is terminated due to retirement, or by retrenchment, discharge, removal by the employer, or (termination of employment by the worker or) any other reason, all wages payable to them must be paid before the expiry of the 30(Thirty) working days from the date on which their employment was terminated.
(3) Payment on working days. All payments of wages shall be made on a working day.
