Night shift under Section 106 | Bangladesh Labor Act -2006:
Where, in any establishment, any shift work of an adult worker extends beyond midnight:
(Ka) For the purpose of Section 103 (which relates to weekly holidays), a "full day's holiday" for the said worker shall mean a period of 24(twenty-four) consecutive hours beginning from the time his shift ends.
(Kha) The "following day" for him shall mean the period of 24(twenty-four consecutive hours) after his shift ends, and the hours he worked after midnight shall be counted toward the working hours of the previous day.
