Festival holiday under Section 118 | Bangladesh Labor Act -2006:

1. Every worker shall be allowed in each calendar year 13 (Thirteen days) of paid festival (holidays.

2. The days and dates of such holidays shall be fixed by the employer in such manner as may be prescribed by rules.

3. A worker may be required to work on any festival holiday, but for this, he shall be granted one day of substitute holiday and 02(two days) of compensatory wages.
