Overtime allowance for extra work under Section 108 | Bangladesh Labor Act -2006:
(1) Where a worker works in an establishment on any day or week for more than the time fixed under this Act, he shall, in respect of the overtime work, be entitled to allowance at the rate of twice his ordinary rate of basic wages and durance allowance and ad-hoc or interim pay, if any.
(2) The provisions of sub-section (1) shall not apply to workers who are paid on a piece-rate basis.
(3) To ensure compliance with the provisions of this section, the Government may, by rules, prescribe the registers to be maintained by an establishment.
